For a same or related disability, a customer would need to work 6 months and one day from the last claim paid to date, for it not to be considered a recurring disability.
For example:
Customer receives a final claim payment as of 03/15/2018 and it pays the claim to 03/31/2018.
The 6 months would start as of 04/01/2018.
The new claim for the same or related total disability would be considered after 10/01/2018.
